An IPA to raise awareness of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

OHSO debuted the beer, formerly called 1-800-273-TALK, five years ago and offers throughout the year Last year, more than 75 breweries in Arizona and outside the state joined the campaign. 988 is the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline number. Proceeds of the beer are donated to suicdie prevention, but the primary goal is to spread awareness and start conversations. One conversation can save a life. Research shows that acknowledging and talking about suicide may reduce rather than increase suicidal ideation.
